I woke up in the dark of night with a vision to write this story and I knew then I had a choice: get up and write down the idea, or go back to sleep and probably wake up in the morning with no memory of it. I got out of bed and wrote down one sentence. In the morning I found that sentence and the vision of the book began unfolding in my mind. So I did it. Two years later here we are.
It is tempting to look at this stack of story and think the novel is done, but I am always thinking about how to tell a story better. Looking forward to working with an agent and publisher to bring this to readers! Feeling like the journey has only just begun. Wish me luck friends.
